Original language name
Quinolinic acid induced NMDA receptor-mediated lipid peroxidation in rat brain microvessels
Original language description
Quinolinic acid (QUIN) increased the generation of lipid peroxidation products and displaced specific binding of [3H]-L-glutamate by isolated rat brain microvessels. QUIN can cause potentially cytotoxic lipid peroxidation in brain microvessels via an NMDA receptor mediated mechanism
Czech name
Peroxidace lipidů vyvolaná kyselinou chinolinovou v kapilárách mozku potkana
Czech description
Kyselina chinolinová (QUIN) zvyšuje peroxidaci lipidů v isolovaných kapilárách mozku laboratorního potkana této změně lze předejít vazbou [3H]-L-glutamátu na NMDA receptory. Quin může tudíž působit cytotoxicky v kapilárách mozku cestou stimulace NMDA receptorů
