beta-Amyloid infusion results in delayed and age-dependent learning deficits without role of inflammation or beta-amyloid deposits

  • Original language description

Learning deficit after the infusion of beta-amyloid into the rat brain is delayed and age dependent. The impairment corerelates with the decrease of some cerebrospinal fluid metabolites, but does not correlate with the appearing of amyloid plaques. Therefore even a subtle increase in brain beta-amyloid concentration may disrupt cognitive abilities in rats independent of inflammation or amyoid plaques load

  • Czech name

Infúzní podání beta-Amyloidu vede k pozdnímu a věkově závislému poškození schopnosti se učit, a to i bez vlivu zánětu anebo beta-amyloidových depozit

  • Czech description

K poškození kognitivních schopností u hlodavců tudíž vede i malé zvýšení koncentrace beta-amyloidu v mozku aniž vznikne zánět nebo vzniknou amyloidová depozita
