Identification of P2X4 receptor transmembrane residues contributing to channel gating and interaction with ivermectin

  • Original language description

Ivermectin specifically enhances P2X4 receptor-channel function by interacting with transmembrane helices in the open conformation state. We used cysteine-scanning mutagenesis and identified ten predominantly hydrophobic-nonpolar transmembrane residues that could be responsible for ivermectin binding

  • Czech name

Identifikace transmembránových aminokyselinových zbytků P2X4 receptoru, které přispívají k otevírá kanálu a interakci s ivermektinem

  • Czech description

Ivermektin specificky zvyšuje funkci P2X4 receptorového kanálu interakcí s jeho transmnembránovými helixy. Použili jsme cysteinovou skenovaní metagenezi a identifikovali jsme deset, převážně hydrofobních nepolárních transmembránových reziduí, která by mohla být zodpovědná za vazbu ivermektinu
