Endothelial cells on PET vascular prostheses impregnated with polyester-based copolymers and coated with cell-adhesive protein assemblies

  • Original language description

Planar polyethylene terephthalate (PET) vascular prosthetic samples were impregnated with the copolymer poly(glycolide?L?lactide) (PGL) or with the terpolymer poly(glycolide?L?lactide?(?)caprolactone) (PGLCap) in order to lower the permeability of the knitted fabrics and ensure a less adhesive background. Subsequent modification with adhesive protein assemblies composed of collagen type I (Co) in conjunction with laminin (LM), fibronectin (FN) or fibrin (Fb) gel was performed to enhance cell adhesion. Vascular endothelial cells of the line CPAE proliferated better on the CoFN, CoFb and CoFbFN coatings than on the Co and CoLM coatings

  • Czech name

Endotelové buňky na cévních protézách z PET, impregnovaných kopolymery polyesterů a pokrytých proteinovými vrstvami adhesivními pro buňky

  • Czech description

Planární vzorky cévních protéz z polyethylen tereftalátu (PET) byly impregnovány kopolymerem glykolidu a L?laktidu nebo terpolymer glykolidu, L?laktidu a (?)kaprolaktonu za účelem snížení propustnosti tkaniny a vytvoření povrchů se sníženou nespecifickouadhesí buněk. Pro zvýšení adhese buněk byly pak tyto povrchy modifikovány vrstvami proteinů zprostředkujících adhesi buněk, složené z různých kombinací kolagenu (Ko), lamininu (LM), fibronektinu (FN) a fibrinu (Fb). Cévní endotelové buňky linie CPAE proliferovaly lépe na vrstvách složených z KoFN, KoFb and KoFbFN než na pokryvech z Ko a KoLM
