GABA-B receptor agonist SKF97541 exhibits anticonvulsant action against the tonic phase of generalized tonic-clonic seizures elicited by pentetrazol especially in young rats. In contrast to baclofen it does not have mixed anti- and proconvulsant effectsin immature rats
