The Role of The TRPV1 Endogenous Agonist N-Oleoyldopamine in Modulation of Nociceptive Signaling at the Spinal Cord Level
Original language description
OLDA application in acute spinal cord slices leads to significant increase of AMPA mediated mEPSC frequency in high concentration. After PKC activation or under pathological conditions only low concentration is needed. Presynaptic spinal cord TRPV1 receptors have a significant modulatory role in nociceptive signalling and may be activated by low concentrations of endogenous agonists like OLDA under pathological conditions
