    Phase-field models with hysteresis.

  • Original language description

The hysteresis model for phase transitions proposed earlier is extended to the case where the speed of phase relaxation depends on the temperature. In particular, classical models of Caginalp and Penrose-Fife are included. Thermodynamic consistency and existence, uniqueness and continuous dependence of solutions on the data are proved similarly as in the case with constant relaxation speed.
