    A Model for a Preisach-Type Aftereffect.

  • Original language description

    A temperature-dependent version of the Preisach model is proposed as a phenomenological model for the tendency of the hysteresis memory to relax, due to thermal fluctuations, towards the state with minimal free energy, with a relaxation speed depending on temperature ( the so-called magnetic aftereffect ). It is shown that the model satisfies the Second principle of Thermodynamics and its well-posedness in Hölder spaces is established in the whole temperature range.
