Let f be a function defined on the set of all real square matrices of order n.If f is SO(n)--invariant, it has a representation g the signed singular valuesof the matrix argument A. A necessary and sufficient condition for the rank 1 convexity of g in terms of g is given.

Czech description
Necht´f je funkce definovaná na množině Lin všech reálných čtvercových matic řádu n. Když f je SO(n) invariantní, potom má reprezentaci F na R^n pomocí znaménkových singulárních čísel maticového argumentu A/in Lin. V práci je dána nutná a postačující podmínka pro to, aby f byla rank 1 konvexní, vyjádřená pomocí funkce F.
