Complete bipartite partition relations in Cohen extensions

  • Original language description

We investigate the effect of adding omega(2) Cohen reals on graphs on omega(2), in particular we show that omega(2) > (omega(2), omega : omega)(2) holds after forcing with Add(omega, omega(2)) in a model of CH. We also prove that this result is in a certain sense optimal as Add(omega, omega(2)) forces that omega(2) negated right arrow (omega(2), omega : omega(1))(2).
