Synthesis of TiO2-SiO2 Fine Particles by CVD Method in a Single Tube Flow Reactor.
Original language description
Externally heated tube flow reactor with partially separated reaction zones is well suited for composite titania-silica particle formation at TR 500 C or higher. The process is affected mainly by cTTIP, presence of water in the reaction mixture, and flowrate through the central nozzle of the reactor. The particles are generally amorphous, some larger particles have angular core and amorphous shell and some very large particles have single crystalline character. Particles prepared in the presence of water are amorphous without respect to the particle size.
