Dehalogenation Potential of Municipal Waste Incineration Fly Ash. I. General Principles.
Original language description
Dehalogenation of hexachlorobenzene was studied on the extracted fly ash from waste incinerator and on a model fly ash containing SiO2, copper and carbon. Model fly ash samples were used to study the effects of copper and carbon on the dechlorination process. The mechanism of the dechlorination and the effects of hydrogen donor and carbon gasification on the course of dehalogenation are presented.
