The aim of this experimental study is to determine the effect of liquid phase properties (presence of surface active compounds and liquid viscosity) on the formation, stability and extent of the homogeneous bubbling regime and values of gas holdup ratioin bubble bed. The effect of liquid phase properties is studied in aqueous solutions of electrolytes, aliphatic alcohols and viscous liquids.
