Optimal Design of a Multifunctional Reactor for Catalytic Oxidation of Glucose with Fast Catalyst Deactivation
Original language description
The main problem of glucose oxidation by oxygen in presence of palladium catalyst is fast but fully reversible catalyst deactivation. This problem is tackled through a tailored selection, design and optimization of the gas-lift reactor. It allows the reaction along with the catalyst reactivation proceed in one multifunctional reactor unit under natural periodic operation mode.
