    The aim of this study was to determine the kinetics of supercritical fluid extraction of volatile from Nigella damascena seeds with focus on its major components, beta-elemene, germacrene A and damascenine. The effect of extraction conditions (temperature 40-60°C, pressure 9-30 MPa) and separation conditions on the yield of volatile components and their concentrationin the extract was studied.
