In this study a new multi-step technology was tested to obtain and the end of process pure silicon and hydrogen. Magnesium silicide was succesfully prepared in reaction of milled PV panels with milled Mg. Through characterization by various methods (XRD, Raman spectroscopy, SEM/EDX, etc.) of prepared samples was also dote to explain the individual influences, e.g. size of applied particles.
