Original language description
Software implements maximum likelihood method to estimate parameters of the several statistical distributions. It can be used in analysis of time series of the meteorological quantities in hydrological studies. Graphical user interface enables visual evaluation of the results by comparison histogram of experimental data with resulting theoretical distribution density. Software includes two numerical methods (Newton-Raphson method, scoring method) to solve equations originating within estimation of the gamma distribution parameters.
