    Catalysed growth of doped TGS single crystals for infrared applications.

    Single crystals of triglycine sulphate (TGS) doped with Pr 3+ , Sm 3+ , Pd 2+ , Co 2+ , Pt 4+ and PO 4 3- with L-alanin were grown from agueous. Surface morphology, domain structure and P-E hysteresis loops have been investigated. The model of catalysedgrowth of /001/ and /101/ crystal pyramids on the basis of metal-glycine complexes has been suggested. We have found on the basis of experimental results that TGS single crystals doped with Pt 4+ and L-alanin are excellent materials for infrared detectors.
