The zona pellucida (ZP) of mature pig oocytes consist of dense filamentous meswork, less compact on the inner and outer faces. The recent information concerning the topography of the ZP surphace may contribute to learn more about the interplay between male and female gametes during the sperm penetration.

Czech description
Zona pellucida zralých prasečích oocytů je uspořádána z husté síťovité struktury méně kompaktní na povrchu vně i uvnitř. Poslední informace o jejím topografickém uspořádání by měla přispět k lepšímu poznání interakce mezi samčí a samičí gametou v průběhuprocesu penetrace spermie.
