Partial molecular characterization and mapping of the GDF9 gene to porcine chromosome 2.
Original language description
A fragment of porcine growth differentiation factor 9 encompassing a part of exon 2 was amplified using the forward primer designed from human mRNA sequence aligned with bovine mRNA sequence and with human genomic DNA sequence to determine homologous nucleotide sequence and exon-intron boundaries of the gene, respectively.
