Original language description
Le château de Prague représentait dans la Tchécoslovaquie de l’entre-deux-guerres un lieu politique exceptionnel. Outre le fait qu’il était le siège de la présidence de la République et de nombreuses autres institutions de l’État, il reflétait des changements et des conflits idéologiques et symboliques. Cet article examine la dimension spatiale du château avec les modifications architectoniques et symboliques qui furent entreprises durant le mandat présidentiel de T. G. Masaryk (1918–1935). Il analyse les nouveaux espaces et monuments créés à l’intérieur du château en interaction avec la politique locale et l’opinion publique.
