Original language description
Bryophytes are can alter species composition in grassland communities, for example by affecting juvenile stages of grasses and other vascular plants, but their effect on spatial structure and on demography of established plants is less known. Therefore we studied effects of bryophytes on the spatial structure of a mountain grassland community using a bryophyte removal experiment, combined with fertilization.

Mechorosty mohou měnit druhové složení travinných společenstev, například tak, že ovlivňují juvenilní stadia zúčastněných rostlin. Jejich další vlivy jsou ale známy málo. proto jsme studovali vliv mechorostů na prostorovou strukturu rostlinného společenstva horské louky manipulativním pokusem.
