From the tested photoreactions of Micrasterias rotata cells there were primarily observed two types of negative phototaxis to relatively higher irradiance (145 ?mol.m-2.s-1), gliding and rising. No marked responses were recorded under lower irradiance (15 ?mol.m-2.s-1) and in darkness. Alternation of higher and lower irradiances resulted in a rising ? laying down cycle. Light responses of this cycle markedly delayed when repeating irradiances alternation.

Negativní fotopohyby u Micrasterias rotata (Desmidiales) jako odpověď na silné světlo
Czech description
Z testovaných fotoreakcí buněk Micrasterias rotata, byly pozorovány dva typy negativní fototaxe při působení relativně silného světla (145 ?mol.m-2.s-1) a to horizontální klouzavý pohyb "gliding" a vertikální pohyb "rising". Při nízké ozářenosti (15 ?mol.m-2.s-1) a ve tmě nebyly pozorovány žádné výrazné reakce buněk na světlo. Střídání vyšší a nižší intensity světla vyústilo v cyklus vertikálního pohybu zvedání a pokládání buněk. Při opakované změně intensity světla se doba reakce výrazně prodlužovala.
