Original language description
The monotypic genus Umbopilio Roewer, 1956 (Opiliones, Sclerosomatidae) from Burma, originally placed in the Phalangiinae and later transferred to the Sclerosomatinae, is here transferred to the Gagrellinae. A second species of the genus, Umbopilio martensi n. sp., is described from Assam, NE India.

Czech description
Monotypický rod Umbopilio Roewer, 1956 (Opiliones, Sclerosomatidae) z Barmy, původně popsaný v podčeledi Phalangiinae a později převedený do podčeledi Sclerosomatinae, je umístěn to podčeledi Gagrellinae. Druhů druh rodu , Umbopilio martensi n. sp., je popsán z Assámu v SV Indii.
