Systematics of the Phialophora verrucosa complex: new insights from analyses of ?-tubulin, large subunit nuclear rDNA and ITS sequences
Original language description
To confirm that Phialophora americana and Ph. verrucosa are distinct taxa, and to examine their phylogenetic relationship to species of Capronia and other representatives of the Chaetothyriales, we sequenced portions of the beta-tubulin gene and nuclearribosomal RNA cistron. Isolates of Capronia svrcekiana and C. semiimersa formed strongly supported clade inferred from the combined beta-tubulin-LSU dataset. Capronia svrcekiana was found to be conspecific with C. semiimersa based on the comparison of cultural, micromorphological and molecular characters.

Systematika Phialophora verrucosa komplex: nové pohledy na základě analýz beta-tubulinu, LSU a ITS sekvencí
Czech description
Capronia a ostatním zástupcům řádu Chaetothyriales pomocí kombinovaného datasetu beta-tubulin-LSU-ITS.
