Phytocoenologia is one of the oldest specialised journals in the field of vegetation ecology. Phytocoenologia is now officially published in collaboration with the International Association for Vegetation Science. The journal also has a new organizational structure. The journal is devoted to vegetation survey and classification at any organizational and spatial scale and without restriction to certain methodological approaches.
