Original language description
The paper focuses on exploration of desired organizational culture in healthcare organizations. It introduces an investigation in which attention was devoted to analyzing the important features of an organizational culture that respondents mentioned as suitable for their actual or potential work career. The respondents were students, but also employees of healthcare professions and occupations. Survey was based on the theory of competing values, which is usually widely used for research of organizational culture in healthcare organizations. This approach allowed indicative comparisons with relevant studies published in professional journals. The results obtained revealed preference of Team organizational culture. Low preferences were connected with Rational organizational culture. This study partly contributes to the field of human resource management and development study of healthcare organizations especially in the area of organizational culture formation.
