Self-Evident Propositions in Late Scholasticism. The Case of 'God Exists'
Original language description
The paper focuses on the epistemic status of the statement God exists? in late Scholastic debates in some 16th and 17th century authors. These discussions are based in T. Aquinas and J. D. Scotus who staked out the territory for further debates. Many later authors attempted to harmonize both opposing positions and show them to be complementary.
