Change and Relations. A Philosophical Essay on the Problem of Relations

  • Original language description

The theme of the book is change and relations. We first explain the Aristotelian concept of change in an up-to-date way and then deal with relational change. Our starting point is again Aristotle, who denies this kind of change. Against the background of scholastic theories of relations, we attempt to defend the existence of relational change and conclude that in doing so it is necessary to reconstruct the Aristotelian categorial scheme.
