Comparison of the X and Y chromosome organization in Silene latifolia

Original language description

We compared orders on the Silene latifolia sex chromosomes. On the basis of the deletion mapping results, we conclude that a part of the Y chromosome has been inverted. The gradient in silent-site divergence suggests that this inversion took place afterthe recombination arrest in this region.

Czech description

Srovnali jsme pořadí genů na pohlavních chromozómech Silene latifolia. Na základě výsledků delečního mapování lze říci, že část chromozómu Y byla invertována. Gradient divergencí v místech synonymních substitucí naznačuje, že tato inverze se odehrála pozástavě rekombinace v této oblasti.
