    The cancer cell cytotoxicity, cell uptake and DNA binding properties of the isomeric terphenyl complexes [éta6-arene)Ru(en)Cl]+, where the arene is ortho-, meta- or para-terphenyl have been compared. The unusual DNA binding mode of para-terphenyl complexmay make a major contribution to its high cytoxic potency in tumor cells.

    Byly srovnány cytotoxicita v nádorových buňkách, průnik do buněk a interakce s DNA isomerních terfenylových komplexů [éta6-aren)Ru(en)Cl]+, kde aren je ortho-, meta- nebo para-terfenyl. Neobvyklý způsob vazby na DNA komplexu para-terfenyl může být hlavním příspěvkem k jeho vysoké cytotoxické aktivitě v nádorových buňkách.
