Carvedilol and adrenergic agonists suppress the lipopolysaccharide-induced NO production in RAW 264.7 macrophages via the adrenergic receptors

  • Original language description

In this study we demonstrated that adrenergic antagonist carvedilol is able to suppress the production of NO in LPS-stimulated macrophages analogically to adrenaline, noradrenaline and dopamine. Further, we demonstrated that carvedilol and adrenergic agonists participate in the regulation of the NO production in response to LPS via the adrenergic receptors.
