Fluorescence of Atomic Germanium – Solution of Excitation Transfer
Original language description
Two excitation schemes were compared in hydride generation laser induced fluorescence (HG-LIF), in terms of measurement accuracy and precision, focused on quantification of absolute concentration and spatial distribution of Ge free atoms in a diffusion flame (DF) atomizer. The obtained Ge concentration profiles revealed a strongly inhomogeneous distribution of free Ge atoms and a low germane atomization efficiency in the flame.
