Original language description
This study investigated the biological activity of ethanol extracts from the fruits of Rubus idaeus (raspberries) and Rubus fruticosus (blackberries), comparing locally sourced and imported samples. Antioxidant properties were evaluated using DPPH and superoxide anion radical scavenging methods. While imported fruits showed higher total phenolic content, local fruits had significantly more dry matter. However, no significant differences in antioxidant activity were observed between the two groups.
