Original language description
A sample of Czech entrepreneurs (n = 222) was compared to the population sample with respect to subjective health status, stress-buffering factors, and health-related behaviours. The findings show that 1) entrepreneurs assess their health state more favourably and 2) have a higher level of health-protective factors at their disposal in comparison with the population sample. However, their health behaviour is rather poor in comparison with that of the population at large.

Czech description
Ve studii byl srovnán soubor českých podnikatelů (n = 222) s reprezenattivním vzorkem české populace (n = 1750), a to v salutoprotektivních charakteristikách a salutoprotektivním chování. Z výsledů vyplývá, že (1) podnikatelé hodnotí příznivěji svůj zdravotní stav a (2) mají vyšší úroveň salutoprotektivních faktorů v porovnání s kontrolní skupinou. Jejich salutoprotektivní chování je však v porovnání s kontrolní skupinou výrazně horší.
