Relationship of Children´Depression Inventory Factor Structure to School Achievement

We analyzed associations between grade point average (GPA) and Children?s Depression Inventory (CDI) factor structure in 587 children aged 9-11 years. Our findings suggest that the CDI contains a factor strongly related to GPA that should be controlled when studying the relationship of the total CDI score to GPA.

Czech description

Analyzovali jsme vztahy mezi známkovým průměrem a faktorovou strukturou Sebeposuzovací škály depresivity (CDI) u 587 školáků ve věku 9-11 let. Naše poznatky naznačují, že CDI obsahuje faktor úzce související se známkovým průměrem, který by měl být při studiu vztahu mezi celkovým skórem CDI a známkovým průměrem kontrolován.
