Exhumed Cenozoic landforms situated on the marginal slope of the Bohemian Massif in the contact area with the Alpine-Carpathian Foredeep in S Moravia (Czech Republic) and N Lower Austria are described. Small elongated crystalline ridges and inselberg-like hills surrounded by Lower Miocene marine clastic deposits are characteristic for the region. The tightly oriented bedrock pattern was predisposed by its position along an old fault zone. The horst-and-graben topography in the present-day landscape of the area evolved within the marginal downwarp of the Bohemian Massif in the Cenozoic, caused by Alpine orogenic movements in the Eastern Alps and Western Carpathians. In the lower Neogene, several transgressions with high rates of sedimentation on the flank of the Massif were connected with the tectonic processes. Exhumované tvary kenozoického stáří na jihovýchodním úbočí Českého masivu v České republice a Rakousku

V příspěvku jsou popsány tvary reliéfu nacházející se na okrajovém svahu Českého masivu ve styčné oblasti s Alpsko-karpatskou předhlubní na jižní Moravě (Česká republika) a v severním Dolním Rakousku. Pro území jsou charakteristické malé protáhlé krystalinické hřbety a vyvýšeniny podobné ostrovním horám obklopené spodnomiocenními mořskými klastickými sedimenty. Pravidelný styl uspořádání skalního podloží byl predisponován svou polohou podél staré zlomové zóny. Reliéf hrástí a prolomů v dnešní krajině sev této oblasti vyvinul při okrajovém prohnutí Českého masivu během kenozoika, způsobeném alpinskými orogenními pohyby ve Východních Alpách a Západních Karpatech. Ve spodním neogénu bylo s tektonickými procesy spjato několik mořských transgresí s rozsáhlou sedimentací na okraji masivu.
