Tom Wengraf, co-editor of two seminal books „The Turn to biographical methods in social science: principles and applications“ and severally reprinted „Qualitative research interviewing: biographic narrative and semi-structured methods“ introduced Biographical-Narrative Interpretative Method (BNIM) of data collection and analysis. The event focused on in depth presentation of the analysis of biographical data, called BNIM case-interpretation method. It is based on a two-phase approach to analysis that is based on: 1) story interpretation as narrated (Teller Flow Analysis), 2) to systematize biographical events captured in the interview (Biographical Data Analysis) and their subsequent synthesis.
