PML protein association with specific nucleolar structures differs in normal, tumor and senescent human cells

  • Original language description

The article describes the PML protein association with nucleoli and nucleolus-derived structures. This association was found in normal human cells (fibroblasts and human mesenchymal stem cells), while it was mostly missing in tumor-derived cells. PML interaction with nucleoli was affected by the inhibitor of rRNA transcription and enhanced after the induction of cellular senescence. These results suggest that PML protein may influence nucleolar functions.

Asociace PML proteinu se specifickými jadérkovými strukturami se liší u normálních, rakovinných a senescentních lidských buněk

  • Czech description

Článek popisuje asociaci PML proteinu s jadérky a strukturami z jadérek odvozenými.
