Chromosomal aberrations in environmentally exposed population in relation to metabolic and DNA repair genes polymorphisms

  • Original language description

The effect of exposure to c-PAHs adsorbed onto respirable air particles (PM2.5) on chromosomal aberrations was studied in a group of policemen from Prague (N=53) and in controls (N=52) by conventional cytogenetic analysis and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). As modifiers were analyzed urinary cotinine, vitamins A, E, C in plasma, folate, cholesterols, triglycerides and 15 metabolic genotypes.

Chromosomové aberace u environmentálně exponované populace ve vztahu k polymorfismu metabolických a DNA reparačních génů

  • Czech description

Jako další působící faktory byly sledovány: kotinin v moči, vitaminy A, E a C v plazmě, foláty, cholesteroly, triglyceridy a 15 metabolických genotypů.
