    We examined the effects of an antiparasitic agent ivermectin on ATP- and alpha,beta-methylene-ATP (alpha,beta-me-ATP)-activated currents in neurones acutely isolated from slices of somato-sensory cortex of 17-22 days old CBL57 mice. These results indicate functional expression of P2X4 receptors in cortical neurones and their involvement in purinergic synaptic transmission in cortex.

    Studovali jsme vliv antiparazitické látky ivermektinu na ATP- a alfa,beta-methylen-ATP (alpha,beta-me-ATP)- aktivované proudy v akutně izolovaných neuronech v řezech somatosenzorické kůry potkana typu CBL57 starého 17-22 dní. Naše výsledky prokázaly funkční expresi P2X4 receptorů v korových neuronech a jejich účast v purinergním synaptickém přenosu v mozkové kůře.
