    The degenerative disorders of retina represent one of the most common causes of decreased quality of vision or even blindness. Effective protocols for treatment of these diseases are still missing. In this review article we discuss possibilities and perspectives of stem cell therapy based on mesenchymal stem cells fior the treatment of degenerative retinal disorders.
