    The breeding of the first inbred strain of Khaki Campbell ducks and their genetic homogeneity tested on the basis of serum amyloid A (SAA) gene polymorphism are presented. In addition to genetic, also non-genetic factors are involved in amyloidosis A induced in this strain of ducks by avian leukosis virus-C (ALV-C).
