The meeting was organized by David Stanek from the Institute of Molecular Genetics AS CR and Libor Krasny from the Institute of Microbiology AS CR. Over 80 participants from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Poland and Great Britain came to Prague to discuss different aspects of RNA metabolism. There were 18 speakers in four sessions (RNA structure and localization, Prokaryotic gene expression, Eukaryotic gene expression, and Splicing and miRNA) and a poster session.
