    Microstructure of (Nd,Eu,Gd)Ba_2Cu_3O_7-delta (NEG-123) samples with (Nd,Eu,Gd)_2BaCuO_5 (NEG-211) particles was investigated by transmission electron microscopy.High-resolution electron microscopy showed a low density microstructural defects around theNEG-211 particles and a clean and sharp 123/211 interfaces. Chemical compositional analysis of secondary phase particles revealed that the smallest, submicron particles were not NEG-211 but mostly Gd-211 or Eu-211.
