Original language description
The nanocrystalline Mn xFe 3-xO 4 (x=0, 1.18, 1.56, and 1.9) spinel ferrite thin films were investigated by means of the x-ray absorption spectoscopy and x- ray magnetic circular dichroism at the Mn and Fe L 2.3 edges. The results are compared with the distribution of cations obtained from the differential thermogravimetry analysis of fine powders of corresponding compositions.
