    The layered cobaltites La2-xSrxCoO4 have been complexly studied over the range of mixed Co3+/4+ valency and their properties discussed in comparison with cubic perovskites La1-xSrxCoO3.The neutron diffraction on the limit composition x=1.4 suggests thatthe long-range ordered ferromagnetic regions coexist with paramagnetic ones, and their amount changes little with an application of high pressures up to 4.3 GPa

    Vrstevnatý kobaltit La2-xSrxCoO4 byl zevrubně studován v rozsahu smíšených valencí Co3+/4+ a jeho vlastnosti diskutovány ve srovnání s kubickým perovskitem La1-xSrxCoO3. Neutronová difrakce na mezním složení x=1.4 naznačuje, že feromagnetické oblasti uspořádané na dlouhou vzdálenost koexistují s paramagnetickými, a jejich množství se mění jen málo působením vysokého tlaku až 4.3 GPa
