    Textured and amorphous films were deposited by KrF laser ablation of Nd:KGW single crystal in oxygen ambient atmosphere on different substrates at temperatures up to 800 C. The influence of substrate nature and temperature on films crystallinity and morphology were studied by XRD, micro-Raman spectroscopoy and SEM. Related emission and excitation spectra and fluorescence decay were examined. The strongly textured polycrystalline Nd:KGW films with fluorescence spectra very close to those of bulk single crystals were deposited only on YAG substrate at higher temperature, whereas the smoother films were obtained at 400 C on all types of substrate.

    Texturované a amorfní vrstvy byly připraveny laserovou ablací (KrF) monokrystalu Nd:KGW v kyslíkové atmosféře při teplotách do 800 C na různé podložky. Vliv podložky a teploty na krystaličnost a morfologii vrstev byl zkoumán pomocí XRD, mikroramanovské spektroskopie a SEM. Byla studována emise, excitační spektra a zánik fluorescence. Silně texturované vrstvy s fluorescenčními spektry podobnými monokrystalům byly připraveny pouze úři vysokých teplotách na YAG podložkách. Hladší vrstvy byly získány při teplotě 400 C na všech typech podložek.
