    A theory of the static electron polarizability of crystals whose energy spectrum is modified by quantizing magnetic fields is presented.The polarizability is strongly effected by nondissipative Hall currents induced by the presence of crossed electric and magnetic fields.

    Teorie statické elektronové polarizovatelnosti krystalů, jejichž energetické spektrum je modifikováno kvantujícím magnetickým polem. Je ukázáno, že polarizabilita je silně ovlivněna nedisipativními Hallovskými proudy, které jsou indukovány magnetickým polem kolmým na pole elektrické.
