    A resonant photoelectron spectroscopy study of Sn(Ox) doped CeO2 catalysts

    In the case of powder catalyst a strong CeO2 -Sn interaction lead to formation of Ce-Sn-O mixed oxide system characterized by Ce3+ ion concentration enhancement and increase of Ce 4f occupation. It explains generally higher catalytic activity of the Ce-Sn-O mixed oxide catalysts when comparing with the individual oxides.

    V případě práškového CeO2 katalyzátoru byla pozorována silná interakce mezi Ce3+ ionty a Sn oxidem, což vede ke zvýšenému obsazení Ce 4f stavů. Obecně vysvětluje vyšší katalytickou účinnost Ce-Se-O katalyzátorů.
